I'm 56 - My first post - but Glade will be my second festival - antiworld last year was my first.
Coming on my own this year, so hope to meet some people, and no I don't feel too old!

Welcome to the festival weather family, dont be on your own at glade. Come join us in the festival weather camp site.

As i intend to get there as early as possible so could put space by for a few at least.

Bring on the mayhem!

Hey Axolotl, this will be my 2nd fest in 25 years , last one being Sun(Mud)rise. I popped my tent up next to these guys and had no regrets. Come along and make me feel young, I'll be 51 Smile Smile

I've been lurking here on FW since antiworld 777.
Thanks for the welcome - how do I find you guys - on a hill not near the loos I guess!
I'm arriving Thurs pm to get a good camp space.
( coming by bike ) - bikes allowed on site? or locked up to a tree or something in the car park?

Bikes are allowed as far as I know, my mate has cycled to Glade before and had no problems with getting his bike on site.

I'm glad to read that I wont be the oldest one there Very Happy

I hit the big four '0' this year but it doesn't seem to have affected my ability to party. This will be my fourth Glade, 2005 was my first festival in 20 years and I'm hooked!!!!!! Glade is my favourite, just got back from Glasto and my legs are killing me - not from dancing from all the sodding walking.

Here's hoping for some good weather - couldn't be any worse than last year but a mudless festie would be nice for a change.

H.x

Come to think of it - this will be my 3rd festival - I went to the Bath Blues Festival in 1970.
Slightly back on topic - I saw Steve Hillage ( System 7 ) when he was in Gong, and Raja Ram ( Shpongle) when he was in Quintessence, both in the early 70's - so how old must they be? - older than me - yay!!
