Remember last year when everyone on this site told me that they'd be back at Powderham for Waveform in 2008 and there wasn't a thing I could do about it?

we did rinse your little area didn't we
nice site, liked the trippy trains at night but can imagine they would have been annoying without the music to drown them out, but all said and done, glad it's closer to home this year.
i still think you should have come for a dance

ROFLOL, this dude kills me. Make sure you don't trip over and fall to your death on your way to the news agent to buy your Daily Mail.

*Yawn*
Sounds like you're on the losing side to me mate - the party goes on the festival spirit is strong and in a couple of weeks time thousands of happy people are going to be dancing laughing and sharing good times whilst you still harp on about last year......
Get over it

Well said Shiva.
We spend most of our recollection time thinking about what a bloody good festival it was. However we have also moved on with our lives to bigger and better things.
In the words of everyone on here. "Get a life you sad lonely person!!""

i wasn't part of waveform last year, and can take a guess as to what this thread is about!!!
Clearly a victory for you Kind Ludd, as you have peace returned and also a victory for the soapdodgers as the party moves onwards and upwards...
I make that 1-1.

Ludd, if you feel like you're missing out on the party this year, don't stay in watching the simpsons, this soapdodger will more than gladly buy you a ticket to come and party!

Local people complaining about Waveform at powderham should be bloody ashamed. I live in this area and socially and culturally it is a desert. the economy is dying and there is a lot of unemployment. The south devon area needs MORE festivals etc to bring people here. the tourist trade is on its ARSE here..no bloody wonder when small minded miserys moan about any events that ar put on. i was gutted to see it had moved (not just for travel reasons but because south devon needs putting back on the map. events such as Waveform help to do that.
so really this is an empty victory in the long run.

And please, let's not even start on the wondrous level of bigotry that assumes that all festival goers are 'soapdodgers'!

I remember mr ludd! The cause of much handbag wielding and insufferable faux intelligent vitriol! last year I must have been massively more patient and forgiving as I seem to remember being very reasonable and understanding. now however I am not.
Fuck right off you wanker.
